Around 11pm on Monday, October 17, 2022, an auto accident occurred near downtown Nicholasville, KY. A car was driving erratically through North Main Street and t-boned a truck that was attempting a left-hand turn onto Orchard Drive.

Kentucky State Police are investigating an accident between a horse and buggy and a car on state highway 1297 in Barren County on October 17, 2022. As a result, 4 passengers in the buggy sustained injuries including 3 that were flown to a nearby hospital for treatment.

It is very unusual for there to be a pedestrian accident on an interstate since pedestrian traffic is prohibited from use of the interstate and people understand the danger it presents. However, on October 14, 2022, a young Corbin, KY woman was struck by a tractor trailer on interstate 75.

On Saturday evening, October 15, 2022, a 17-year-old from New Albany, Indiana died in Mead County on US 60 when he attempted to pass a car and the car made a left-hand turn. The Kentucky State Police and the Meade County Sheriff’s office are investigating this accident.

A car accident involving a school bus and a minivan outside of the Rangeland Elementary School in Louisville, Jefferson County, Ky occurred around 4 pm on October 11, 2022. 8 students were injured and 3 people in the minivan were injured as well.

A single truck accident occurred on Bluegrass Parkway near Versailles, KY  around 7 am on October 11, 2022. The tractor trailer lost control and struck a bridge and the cab of the tractor caught fire and was dangling over the edge of the bridge with the Kentucky River below.

A failure to yield car accident occurred on Lexington Road in Georgetown, Scott County, Ky on October 11, 2022. An SUV was traveling south on Lexington Road when another vehicle attempted a left-hand turn across Lexington Road and the vehicles collided. One of the driver’s died at the scene.

Two tractor trailers collided on Interstate 71 in Carroll County near Campbellsburg, Ky. at 4:47 pm on October 8, 2022 when one tractor trailer slowed to exit onto the shoulder and was rearended by another truck.

A hit and run accident on Can Run Road in Louisville, Jefferson County, Ky occurred around 8 pm on October 9, 2022. The hit and run vehicle crossed the centerline and crashed into a vehicle with a driver and two passengers.

A Marion County accident around 11 am on October 6, 2022 has left 3 people dead from a two-vehicle collision. The accident was a head-on collision when one vehicle crossed the center line and struck the other.
