There is a certain law firm advertising in Kentucky, and originating from Florida, that boasts that because they are big, they are better. On November 3, 2022, at around 10:00 am local time, a small plane crashed as it attempted to land at Tucker-Guthrie Memorial Airport in Harlan County, Kentucky. The crash killed the pilot, who was the only occupant of the aircraft.

On November 14, 2022, at around 5:00 pm local time, an auto accident occurred in Georgetown, Kentucky on Seminole Trail that claimed the life of a 22-year-old female UK student from Bowling Green, Kentucky. Although all the details of the accident are not known at this time, it has been reported that the UK student was struck by a pick-up struck as she was attempting to make a turn.
